In todays lessons on Thursday 17th, we firstly decided on our group which include Xenia Hawkey, Charlotte Maddocks and myself. We then came together to make a final decision on what genre to choose for our music video which would would then eventually research and develope our own music video that we have been assigned to create for our coursework in A2. Our music video would our group will create must ensure it keeps to the codes and conventions of our chosen genre. To come to a final decision we had to consider the theme of the song, what we would include in the music video, what genre would be best suited for our ideas and who the target demographic audience would be, how and where we would advertise and promote our new song, and who we would ask to star in our video. After our group put our ideas together and mind mapped our ideas, we choose the most appropriate ideas and agreed on some final decisions. We chose R&M/Soul.
